God Hears You… But Why Does It Feel Like He Doesn’t?
Dear Jesus,
How many times have I come to your feet? I have asked so many times, do you hear my prayers? The desires of my heart?
You gave me gifts, Lord. Am I using them correctly? How do you want me to use them? Guide me, Lord.
What do you want from me? Tell me what my purpose is in this life? Why am I here, Lord?
I want this. Do you hear me, Lord? When it's my turn, Lord, now let's pause and reflect.
You see, we become blind and impatient. We don't see that we are currently living in an answered prayer. We don't see our actions in our gifts.
You started to write again. You started to sing. You started to paint. You started helping in church.
You are in the sewing and don't even know it because you are impatient and blind.
It's easier for us to turn off our spiritual lens and believe the lies we tell ourselves, such as he's too busy.
Why would he help me? He's not listening to me, whatever it may be, so that we can feel pity and shame for ourselves. The loop of victimizing ourselves so that we may not see or stay still or take action.
People, let me tell you a secret. God listens to you. He may not respond at your timing, but God's timing is always right. He will provide the answer in a blessing or a trial.
Guess what? God's answer is always right. It may not be what you wanted, or it may.
He is a disciplined father. We are his children.
His answer has growth, endurance, suffering, and joy, so that we may be fully equipped for the calling God has placed in our lives.
59 Isaiah ( CSB) Indeed, the Lord’s arm is not too weak to save, and his ear is not too deaf to hear.
